SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV Course Bundle in Forest Gate

This bundle puts two SIA qualifications into one booking at our Forest Gate centre. You start with six days of Door Supervisor training, Monday to Saturday, with the Emergency First Aid course on the first morning, and then move straight on to three days of CCTV Operator training. Nine days later you have sat the exams for two licences, and you have paid less than booking the courses one at a time.

Why take both

A door licence and a CCTV licence open up different kinds of work. Door supervision covers bars, clubs, events and, because the licence includes guarding, most static security jobs too. CCTV puts you in a control room. Holding both means you can say yes to more shifts, whether that is a door, a shopping centre floor or a control room.

How the nine days run

• Days 1 to 6: Emergency First Aid in the first half of day one, then the four Door Supervisor units, including conflict management, searching, safeguarding and physical intervention.
• Days 7 to 9: the CCTV Operator units, covering the law, control room procedures and hands-on camera work.

Every session is compulsory, and the exams for each qualification are taken at the centre.

Training in Forest Gate

The centre is a short walk from Forest Gate station on the Elizabeth line, two stops from Stratford and direct from Liverpool Street. Woodgrange Park and Wanstead Park on the Overground are close too, which makes it an easy daily journey from Manor Park, East Ham, Upton Park, Leytonstone and Ilford.
