Questions or want to book by phone?
Call 020 8050 4108Renew your Door Supervisor licence and qualify as a CCTV operator in one booking, at Battersea High Street. The two-day refresher across Saturday and Sunday, First Aid included, then three days in the control room from Wednesday to Friday. Five days in total for £440, with £140 to book.
If you work south of the river, this is the bundle that keeps you south of the river for all five days, with direct trains to Clapham Junction from Wimbledon, Richmond, Croydon, Sutton, Kingston and much of Surrey.
Weekend, 9am to 6.30pm: the Door Supervisor refresher. Saturday morning, the first half of day one, is a half-day of Emergency First Aid. The rest of the weekend covers search procedures, protecting vulnerable people, threat assessment and physical intervention, assessed through multiple-choice tests and practicals.
Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 6pm: CCTV. The complete three-unit SIA Level 2 Public Space Surveillance qualification. Its 27 guided hours cover industry principles, operator duties and practical equipment operation, and finish with the exam. First aid is not part of this half.
The bundle works in either order. Our dates put the refresher first; for CCTV first, phone and we will sort it.
Included: both qualifications and certificates, Emergency First Aid, the refresher self-study pack, and every exam and practical assessment.
108 Battersea High Street, London SW11 3AH. Clapham Junction, about ten minutes on foot, is the nearest station, with direct trains from Victoria and Waterloo. Several bus routes stop on the High Street, and there is parking nearby, which helps on the midweek days.
Once the door licence is renewed you can keep working the bars around Clapham and Battersea, along with shops, hotels and events, and guarding is covered too. The CCTV licence opens the control rooms behind them, in estate suites, shopping centres, transport hubs, corporate offices and council monitoring centres.

Choose a week here and press Book. Enter your name, email and mobile and pay £140 by card, and your confirmation and joining instructions arrive by email straight away. The full fee is £440: £140 deposit to book, £300 at the centre on day one, whichever course comes first.
Need a set week to fit your rota, or a First Aid certificate checked? Ring 020 8050 4108 between Monday and Saturday. Book that way and we email a secure payment link instead, since we don’t take card details over the phone.
After passing, make both SIA applications together through the SIA licence application service and the second costs less. Allow up to eight weeks, and get the renewal in before your card expires.
Do I need any CCTV experience to take the CCTV half?
No. The 27 guided hours assume you are starting from scratch and cover the equipment from the ground up. Your door experience helps with the legal and conflict material, but nothing is taken for granted.
I work Friday and Saturday nights: can I still do this week?
The refresher days end at 6.30pm and the CCTV days at 6pm, so a late shift is possible, but you would start the refresher and sit its assessments on very little sleep. If you can, book a weekend when you can drop the Friday and Saturday shifts.
What happens if I do not pass an exam first time?
You resit the unit rather than retaking the course. SIA resits cost £50 per unit, and we book you onto the next available sitting at the centre.
How soon can I start control room work?
Once the CCTV licence arrives. Expect results about two to three weeks after the course, sometimes more if the awarding bodies are slow, then up to eight weeks for the SIA. Allow at least two to three months between the course and your first shift.
