SIA Door Supervisor Refresher (Top Up) in Bethnal Green

The SIA Door Supervisor refresher in Bethnal Green is two days of top up training on Bethnal Green Road, from 9am to 6.30pm, with Emergency First Aid included. It is the training the SIA requires before you can renew a Door Supervisor licence.

Renewing around your shifts

Bethnal Green sits between Shoreditch, the City and Hackney. If you work the venues nearby, the refresher is done quickly and close to home. Two days covers it: Emergency First Aid in the first half of day one, then a refresh of physical intervention and conflict management and the updated SIA content on searching, safeguarding and terror awareness, with your assessment on day two.

Three things to sort out first

1. Check your licence expiry date and aim to train four to five months before it. Already expired? You can still book. The SIA lets you renew before your licence expires or up to three years after it expires.
2. Complete the free ACT Awareness and ACT Security e-learning on the ProtectUK website and save both certificates. You need them before the course.
3. Bring photo ID and two proofs of address dated within the last three months.

Add a CCTV licence in one booking

If you have ever thought about control room work, Bethnal Green runs a Door Supervisor refresher and CCTV bundle. You renew your door licence over a weekend and gain the CCTV Operator qualification over three midweek days, all in one booking.

Hold a Security Guard licence instead? There is a one-day Security Guard refresher in Bethnal Green too.
