SIA Door Supervisor Refresher (Top Up) in Whitechapel

The SIA Door Supervisor refresher in Whitechapel is two days of top up training at Aldgate Corner on Whitechapel High Street, from 9am to 6.30pm. It includes the Emergency First Aid certificate you need, so you can renew your licence without booking anything else.

Built for people already working

You already hold a licence, and you may well be fitting renewal around shifts, so the two days are kept practical. Day one starts with Emergency First Aid in the first half of the day. Then you refresh physical intervention and conflict skills and go through the updated SIA material on searching, safeguarding and terror awareness. The assessment is done before you leave on the second day.

Book before your licence runs out

Start four to five months before your expiry date. The SIA lets you apply up to four months early and adds any time left on your old licence to the new one, so there is nothing to lose by renewing early and a lot to lose by leaving it late. Already expired? You can still book. The SIA lets you renew before your licence expires or up to three years after it expires.

Before the course, complete the two free ACT counter terrorism courses on the ProtectUK website and keep the certificates. You need them to take the refresher.
