Door Supervisor Refresher and CCTV Course Bundle in Forest Gate

Your Door Supervisor refresher across Saturday and Sunday, then three days in the control room from Wednesday to Friday. Five days for £420, First Aid included, and you leave ready to renew one licence and apply for a second. At Forest Gate the refresher alone is £200 and the CCTV course alone is £280.

Forest Gate E7 is ten to fifteen minutes’ walk from Forest Gate station on the Elizabeth line. That is two stops from Stratford, with trains straight through to Liverpool Street one way and out to Ilford and Romford the other.

Day by day

Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 6.30pm	Refresher. Half a day of Emergency First Aid fills the first half of the first refresher day. After that: physical intervention, conflict management and the updated SIA content, with exams and practical assessments
Wednesday to Friday, 9am to 6pm	SIA Level 2 CCTV Public Space Surveillance, 27 guided hours: operator duties, codes of practice, data protection and evidence handling, live monitoring practice and the exam. No first aid

On the calendar the refresher always comes first. If you would like CCTV first, that works too. Give us a call and we will arrange it.

The price covers the refresher and the CCTV course, Emergency First Aid, the self-study pack, every exam and practical assessment, practice papers and both certificates. Nothing more is charged on the day.

What each licence lets you do

Once renewed, your door licence lets you keep working doors in Stratford, Ilford and Romford, all on the Elizabeth line, plus hotels, events and retail. It still covers guarding too. The CCTV licence adds control room work: council monitoring suites, shopping centres, transport hubs, distribution parks and housing estates. With both, you can pick up a wider range of shifts across Newham and East London.

Entry checklist

• ID: one photo ID and two proofs of address, each no older than three months

4. Come to all five days. The fee is £420 in all: £120 deposit to book, £300 at the centre on day one. Day one means the first day of whichever course you start with

Questions about a particular week, or a First Aid certificate you already hold? Call 020 8050 4108, Monday to Saturday. We can take the booking over the phone and email you a secure payment link. We never ask for card details on a call.

Pass, then send the renewal and the CCTV application together through the SIA licence application service to get the second at a lower fee. It can take the SIA up to eight weeks, so send them in well before your current card expires.

FAQs

Is it too late if my licence has expired?

Not within three years. You can renew any time before the expiry date and for up to three years after it. Past that, ring us with the expiry date before you book.

Can I miss a day and catch it up later?

No. Both qualifications carry SIA minimum contact hours, so all five days are compulsory. If something comes up, move your whole booking to another week rather than skipping a day.

How quickly do results come through?

In most cases two to three weeks after the course, by email. It can be longer if the awarding bodies are slow, so an exact date isn’t something we can give.
