SIA Door Supervisor Course in Bethnal Green

This SIA Door Supervisor course in Bethnal Green takes six days, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, at 465 Bethnal Green Road. It includes the Emergency First Aid course on the first morning, and by the final day you will have sat all the exams for the Level 2 Door Supervisor award.

Close to Shoreditch's bars and clubs

Shoreditch, with its bars, clubs and late venues, is a few minutes west of the centre. Hackney, Dalston and the City are all close too. Bars, clubs, music venues, hotels and events here need licensed door staff every weekend, so it is a practical place to train if you want to start working soon after you get your licence.

What you study

• Working in the private security industry: the law, licensing, health and safety and emergency procedures
• The door supervisor role: searching, refusing entry, licensing law, drugs awareness and safeguarding
• Conflict management: reading a situation and calming it down before it escalates
• Physical intervention: holding and escorting techniques taught with safety as the priority
• Emergency First Aid, a half-day session on the morning of day one: CPR, defibrillators, choking and bleeding

More than one licence?

Bethnal Green has our widest range of courses. If control room work interests you, the Door Supervisor and CCTV bundle adds a CCTV Operator qualification in the same booking and costs less than taking both courses separately.
