GQA CSCS Green Card. Two days at our Whitechapel centre leading to the GQA qualification accepted for a CSCS Green Labourer card. See the GQA Green Card course.

CPCS A73 Traffic Marshal. A classroom Saturday, six days of home study, then a practical day and your CPCS test the following Saturday at our Barking centre. See the CPCS A73 course.

Forklift training. An RTITB-accredited course at our Uxbridge centre, taking beginners to an assessed operator in about two days. It runs most weekends, on Saturday and Sunday. See forklift training.

Before you book

Bring photo identification to every course. For the CPCS A73 course you will be asked whether you have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test in the last two years, as the CPCS card application needs it.

Looking for online training? Our partner London Construction College runs the traffic marshal course online, which takes about four hours, along with other online construction courses.

Frequently asked questions

Which card do I need to start working on a construction site?

Most sites ask for a CSCS card. New labourers usually apply for the Green Labourer card, which needs a recognised health and safety qualification and a pass in the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test.

What is the difference between the CSCS card course and the GQA Green Card course?

Both lead to the CSCS Green Labourer card. The one-day CSCS card course combines Level 1 health and safety training with the CITB test. The two-day GQA course gives you the GQA qualification and more time on the material.

What does a traffic marshal do?

A traffic marshal, or plant and vehicle marshaller, guides plant and delivery vehicles safely around a site. The CPCS A73 card shows you are trained and tested to do it.

Do I need experience for forklift training?

No. The RTITB course is designed for beginners. It takes about two days and runs most weekends. You learn the theory on day one and the driving and load handling on day two, and your assessment is built in.

Can I do construction courses online?

Yes, through our partner London Construction College. That includes the traffic marshal and banksman course, which takes about four hours online. The CSCS, Green Card, CPCS and forklift courses on this page are taught in a classroom.
