Please read these terms before booking any course with BookCourse. By booking or paying for a course, you agree to them. Last updated: 18 October 2026.
BookCourse is a booking platform. We book SIA security, construction and first aid courses at approved partner training centres in London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester. We take your booking and your payment, and pass your details to the centre. The training centre delivers the training and the assessment, and the awarding body issues your qualification.
In these terms:
The minimum age for all courses is 18. Please check that you meet the entry requirements on the course page before you book.
For every course you must bring valid photo ID, such as a passport or UK driving licence. For SIA licence-linked courses you must also bring two proofs of address dated within the last three months. If you arrive without the correct ID, you may be refused a place and this will be treated as non-attendance.
If you have a health condition or specific need, please tell us at least 15 working days before your course. This helps us and the training centre arrange the right support for a safe and positive learning experience.
You pay by credit or debit card, either on our website or through a secure payment link. If you call us on 020 8050 4108 to book, we email you a payment link. For your security, we never take card details over the phone. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, so we never see your full card details.
Most courses are reserved with a deposit. The deposit and the balance are shown on the course page and at checkout, and the balance is paid at the centre on the first day of the course, before training starts. Some courses are paid in full when you book, and the course page and checkout say so.
Company bookings are invoiced for the full amount, and the invoice must be paid by its due date.

We may need to move a course to another suitable centre. If this happens, we will tell you by email or phone at least 24 hours before the course starts.
Results and certificates normally take two to three weeks after you complete your course. Delays at the awarding bodies can make it longer, so we cannot promise an exact date.
When a Purchaser books for Students, the Purchaser is responsible for giving each Student's correct name and contact details and for passing these terms on to them.
Online courses linked from our website are sold and delivered by our partners, London Security College and London Construction College, under their own terms.
You must not copy, change, share or resell any course materials without written permission from their owner, such as the training centre or the awarding body. Unauthorised use may lead to legal action.
A receipt is shown online and emailed to you when you pay. Please keep a copy, as you may need it for payment or refund queries. Report any billing errors within 48 hours, and we aim to resolve them within 48 hours of your request.
When you book, we collect your name, email address and mobile number, and we share them with the training centre that delivers your course. We do not sell your personal data. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and our visitor statistics don't use cookies at all. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We work hard to keep course details, our website and its content accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee they will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the course fees you have paid.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or where the law does not allow it. Your statutory rights are not affected.
We may update these terms and the course details on our website at any time. The version on this page when you book applies to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
