SIA Door Supervisor Course in South West London

Our SIA Door Supervisor course in South West London runs for six days, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, on Battersea High Street near Clapham Junction. The Emergency First Aid course is included, and the exams are taken at the centre.

Train south of the river

Most of our London centres are in East London, which can mean an hour or more each way from Clapham, Wandsworth, Putney, Balham, Tooting or Streatham. Over six days that adds up to a lot of time and travel money. Our Battersea centre keeps the journey short if you live anywhere in South West London or further out toward Croydon and Surrey.

Work close to the centre

South West London keeps door staff busy. Clapham High Street is lined with bars and clubs, Battersea Power Station has brought new bars, restaurants and events, and Clapham Common and Battersea Park host large summer events. A Door Supervisor licence covers all of that, plus guarding work in shops and offices.

The six days

The course opens with a half-day Emergency First Aid session on the morning of day one. You then complete the four SIA units for door supervisors: working in the private security industry, the door supervisor role, conflict management and physical intervention. You need to be 18 or over, and no experience is needed. Bring photo ID and two proofs of address from the last three months on your first morning.

Getting here

Clapham Junction is a short walk from the centre, with National Rail and Overground services. Battersea Park and Queenstown Road stations are nearby, and buses run along Battersea High Street and Falcon Road. See the South West London centre page for the other courses at this centre, including Emergency First Aid and licence refreshers.
